AHK Colombia: Connecting Colombia with the German business world

As part of a global network with over 140 offices in 92 countries, AHK Colombia promotes bilateral economic relations between Germany and Colombia. Our mission is to act as a strategic bridge for German and Colombian companies seeking to grow, innovate and expand globally.

With the backing of the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs), we offer direct access to market knowledge, specialist advice, high-level business networks and tailor-made solutions. We are present wherever German economic interests encounter key opportunities: in the world’s most important markets.

The AHKs carry out the following three main functions at their offices:

Official representation of the German business community
The AHKs are key players in the promotion of German foreign trade on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany. They represent German business interests in their respective countries. They provide information about and promote Germany as a business and industrial location.

Partner organisation
The AHK brings together companies that maintain active bilateral economic relations. These member companies give the respective binational chamber its significance and voice when it comes to engaging with politics, business and administration and promoting bilateral economic relations.

Business service providers
The AHKs offer support services to companies from Germany and the host country under the ‘DEinternational’ service brand, enabling them to carry out their foreign trade activities.
